SOLD You don't often find older mosaic or micro- mosaic jewelry items with all of the tiny tesserae intact. Sadly, this one has three missing that I could find around the edges. I did not spot them until I checked the piece for the third time. The tiles are teeny tiny, so to the naked eye, the missing tiles cannot be detected. The camera could not pick them up either. I checked the center section very closely where three tiny orange glass tiles are placed. At first I thought there should have been four, but upon close inspection there is a tile where I thought the fourth should be. The glass is mostly light green and white sprinkled with orange. When viewed very closely you can see the lovely floral design of many colors including blue, yellow and purple. The metal backing is brass. The chain is thin and closes with a spring- ring clasp.      Condition:   Very good vintage. Other than the tile issue which is not notable to the naked eye, there is normal wear to the metal from age. Price accordingly. Measurements:    22" long.
