A few weeks ago, in a trade magazine, I saw similar compacts touted as the new "it" purchase! Most of the carry- alls in the article were new but the principle was the same. An easy to carry clutch style case with all of your necessary items tucked neatly inside. This rectangular case is in gold- tone metal with colorful enamel animals on a gold and cream background. The lid opens to reveal a mirror, and three compartments. Once appears to be for blush/rouge and another for lipstick. I did not know this when I took the images, but the mirror also comes forward to reveal yet another compartment. Currently there is a small comb within. All of the compartments can be re- purposed. The entire case slips into a black satin sleeve with a snap loop closure. The hallmark appears on one compartments lid and on a powder puff inside the case.          Condition:  Excellent vintage.  There is a small piece of extra metal on one side of the case at the top. It can probably be removed. The black sleeve shows some pulls and scuffs.  Priced accordingly. Measurements:   3" long and 5 1/2" wide.
