Vintage Coro Enamel Rhinestone Tulip Trembler Pin from 1939|Amazing Adornments.com Signed Vintage Costume Jewelry|Brooches and Pins

SOLD Evidently this piece also was also made with two tulips as the patent for both pieces is the same. The two flower version is shown in the book Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia Carroll on page 41. There is a link to the patent below. The patent was issued to Adolph Katz in 1939 so this rather large flower pin dates to around that time. The tulip is set with small rhinestones pavé style on the outside and inside of the flower. The stamens are trembling baguettes and a chaton. The long bright gold tone stems are set of by green enamel leaves held together with a rhinestone ribbon. The hallmark appears on the reverse along with the patent number. Both are poorly stamped.

Condition: Excellent vintage.  Tiny spots of enamel loss noted.

Measurements: 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide.
