This sin- sational necklace can be seen in the new book Sherman Jewellery, The Masterpiece Collection by Sandra Caldwell and Evelyn Yallen, with purple rhinestones on page 131. It is really easy to see why they chose this design to include in their book.  First, there is the unique mixed construction. Rivets were used at the domed sections along with other joining techniques. Note the small chatons on wire at the center floret. Also, the large navettes at the bottom of each floret is at a slight angle for perfect drape.  Secondly, the piece is beautiful to look at, true eye candy, and is flattering when worn. The metal is rhodium plated and all of the top quality rhinestones are prong set. It closes with a hook clasp and it is adjustable. The other end of the chain is finished with a generous chaton. The hallmark appears on the reverse of the navette at the very center.      Condition:  Excellent vintage.  Very light wear is noted.      Measurements:    13 3/4" long and adjustable by another 1 3/4".
