This beauty was produced in two sizes. This is the smaller pin clip and it can be seen in the book, Volume 2: American Costume Jewelry: Art and Industry, 1935-1950, by Carla and Roberto Brunialti on page 98. The clip is rhodium plated with brown enamel stems streaked lightly with green enamel. A white enamel lace look section is set with small pastel flowers all set with one clear rhinestone each.  Four green and brown enamel leaves form a backdrop, while a bright blue enamel bow set with clears finishes the clip. The patent for this gorgeous piece was issued to Alfred Philippe in 1941. There is a link to the patent below. The hallmark appears on the reverse.                    Condition:  Excellent vintage. The white sections on the tips of the enamel flowers are meant to be there. This is not enamel loss. There is some enamel spillover onto the reverse of the green leaves and the blue bow. It is not severe. Measurements:    2 1/4" long and 1 1/4" wide.
