This is one of the pretty enamel fur clips patented [link to patent is below] by the company in the 1940s. The patent for this design was issued to Alfred Philippe in June of that year. The flowers look like Forget- Me- Nots in are pink, white and blue enamel with clear rhinestone centers. A ribbon of clear rhinestones holds the stalks of the green curling leaves. Tiny clears are set under the folds of the leaves and at the bottom at the stalks and sprinkled throughout the piece. The metal is rhodium plated and the hallmark appears on the clips. This piece can be seen with different colored flowers in the book A Tribute to America by Carla and Roberto Brunialti on pages 95 and 96.   Condition: Excellent vintage. Some enamel loss noted on a few flower petals. Measurements: 3" long and 2" wide.
