SOLD The images do not do this set justice! Robert DeMario was one of the shinning stars of costume jewelry before he closed his shop in 1965. Working for Miriam Haskell in the early years didn't hurt. Here we have a shimmering nine strand necklace of faceted and stunning crystal rounds, some with an iridescent coating in root- beer. Between the sparkly glass rounds, at intervals, is delicate hand sewn and wrapped golden thread. The two ends of this glamorous necklace are joined with a rhinestone decorated clasp. It closes with a hook and it is adjustable. The matching bracelet has the same excellent construction and closes with a fancy slide clasp of dangling crystals and the wrapped golden threads. This is an earlier DeMario design and sure winner that will compliment any special occasion outfit. Both pieces are signed. Condition: Excellent used. Minor pulls to the thread. Normal wear is noted. Measurements: Necklace: 15" long and adjustable by another 2 1/2". The shortest strand is around 12 1/2" long. The largest crystal is 10mm and the smallest is 8mm. Bracelet: 8" long. The bracelet has eight strands.
